Suggested Uses
TOPICALLY:
Apply 1-2 diluted drops on area of concern, pulse points, abdomen, or back
Add several drops to skin or skin care products
AROMATIC:
Add 8-10 drops to a diffuser
Add a drop to palms of hands, cover nose and mouth and inhale
Add to water in spray bottle to spritz in room or on linens
Inhale scent directly from bottle, or put a drop on tissue and inhale
INTERNALLY: (see internal use safety recommendations)
Dilute with carrier oil & add to cold or hot beverage to benefit body systems
Add 1-10 diluted drops to capsule
Safety

If applying an essential oil to your skin always perform a small patch test to an insensitive part of the body (If it is not already diluted, dilute with a carrier oil).

I am using this for stress. I diffused with a few others. It was thick but I inserted a toothpick in the hole to get it to start flowing.

This is definitely high quality, I only downrated one star due to price and somewhat value. However I have tried other brands of vetiver and it was too musky, ok if I wanted a substitute for musk. Almost this is like a sandalwood but not as sweet or cedar but not as woody. I like this because it is of Haitian origin.

Unfortunately, I can’t get anything out of the bottle! The bottle is full, and I can tell it’s a thick consistency from the one or two drops that finally came out, but I have to shake it hard about 10 tot 20 times to get ANYTHING. So frustrating! I have several Davina oils (in the same kind of bottles) but the oils come out almost too fast! I just tap gently to get a few drops. I can live with that, but this bottle is worthless since I can’t use it. I don’t know if it’s because the oil is too thick, or if the plastic cap dropper is defective.
UPDATE: Davina contacted me, and even though I can’t return due to the risks involved in transport, they are giving me a full refund. Great customer service!! I usually have no issues with any of their oils… most I LOVE, especially their blends. (Can’t be without Liquid Sunshine!) But it’s comforting to know that if there is an issue, they are more than willing to resolve it for you. Thanks, Davina!

Vetiver is my aphrodisiac. I think it is my favorite essential oil of all. Something about this scent is so attractive to me. It is used a lot in stress reduction mixed with lavender and other oils. I have to have this scent either pure or mixed in a blend in my diffuser at all times. It simply works well for me. Have a musky warm scent. I would say even dreamy and fantasy like a forest from a fairy tale. It may sound silly but vetiver scent sends me to my happy place.This one by Davina is thick and concentrate. Not a cheap watered down oil.It’s the good stuff!

Beautiful earthy scent. Great quality. Smells great in my burner but have had to remove the dropper mechanism, which wasn’t easy, to get anything out. Oil is too thick in consistency for this bottle type. It’s a shame as is a lovely oil

Oh My Goodness , totally surprised by the quality of this oil in a good way. This smells delightful, a mysterious, woody, musky scent. I just love it. I am so happy with my purchase and such great quality at an affordable price. This oil relaxes me and calms my mind after a hard day at work. I sleep really well when I diffuse this. I also use it as a perfume, a little bit rubbed behind your ears lasts the whole day and gives a unique scent.

I love this oil! I was hesitant to try it because it is a little more on the expensive side but I have no regrets. It reminds me of walking through the woods when I was younger, snapping open and smelling cedar branches. It’s a very calming and relaxing scent. The only downfall is that the oil is so thick I have to leave it upturned for a few minutes to get enough drops into my diffuser. I usually leave it upside down and apply topically so I don’t have to wait. I would happily pay the same price for something a little more diluted and faster to use.

Have you ever tipped your EO bottle over and just about died because nearly all of it came out? This won’t happen with this oil. Very thick, but of excellent quality. I enjoy mixing this with many homemade blends. Definitely a little dab will do ya. Recommend!

Ignore complaints of consistency; this oil is fantastic! DAVINA is my go to brand;their blend chart is spot on and all my oils have been excellent quality.Other brands I’ve tried,(MANY)are overpriced, POUR out of the bottle or I can smell a mix with some other chemical. I use many different essential oils because of a number of ailments (insomnia,anxiety,PTSD, ADHD). I blend vetiver with several other oils depending on the need. It’s great in my diffuser at night with insomnia!You only need a FEW drops for a 100ml unit. I use the roller glass bottles for my blends;alway keep one on hand.*Vetiver smells amazing,not overpowering scent and blends well with many oils.GREAT for my son; he’s hyper-sensory.The roller ball doesn’t stimulate his reaction to touching his skin(like lotions).The scent also don’t over stimulate his olfactory system; they help with his anxiety/stress etc. Thank you for the amazing oils!

I love the deep woody tones of Vetiver, it is so calming and ideal for evening diffusing to help with sleep, it is strong so only a drop or 2 is needed. Sadly my husband doesn’t like it as it is too heavy for him. Still a favourite for me.
