Description

For soothing sore muscles, tension, or inflammation, the warming and pain-relieving properties of clove bud, when diluted with your favorite carrier oil, make an excellent rub. Clove bud is potent, and a little goes a long way when applied topically (maximum .5% dilution) or when diffused. A drop or two is all you need to push away fatigue and surround yourself with the delicious and spicy-sweet scent of clove.

Clove has a warm and spicy scent that combines well with many types of oils including most citrus oils, many floral or sweet oils such as Ylang Ylang, Clary Sage, Fennel, or Lavender, and is also popular with more herbal, woody or warm scents such as Rosemary, Cedarwood, Frankincense, or Cinnamon. While Davina’s clove EO is right on with all good clove I have smelled, it is still too potent by itself for me and I only like it when it has therapeutic benefits in blends and not by itself. I don’t mind the smell of it in the body armor blend that Davina has which is amazing and it’s not too awful paired with lavender but overall I have no use for clove by itself which is why it got a 3 star rating but it still has some good benefits so as long as it doesn’t over power I can handle it!

The Clove Bud’s scent is spot on. Very strong and love the way my home smells when diffusing.

Great Clove oil. I use this to gargle with and it helps with any gum problems. I also use it to make my own Four Thieves blend. Highly recommend all of the Davina Wellness oils…especially their head med blend!

Clove oil is good for so many things! I use it in a Four Thieves blend for immune support, in the pain relief salve, in the diffuser, and multiple other things! It’s great in a rub for tired feet as well. It’s a must have in any home apothecary.

  9. Krissy

This is a very good quality clove. I use it for my homemade thieves oil!

I’ve been told clove is good for toothaches but hadn’t tried it myself until recently. I used it with count oil on my gums and it helped the ache go away! I have preciously recommend it to my mom when she had a bad toothache and couldn’t get in to a dentist right away. She said it worked! I’m glad there is a natural pain relief that works. Clove has a bold smell and taste but it wasn’t overpowering in my mouth. It also had other great healing properties.

Clove oil is antiseptic, antiviral, antibacterial, just amazing. I put it on my toothbrush. I use it as a mouthwash. And, put it in my tea. Enjoy!
