Suggested Uses
TOPICALLY:
Apply 1-2 diluted drops on area of concern, pulse points, abdomen, or back
Add several drops to skin or skincare products
AROMATIC:
Add 8-10 drops to a diffuser
Add a drop to palms of hands, cover nose and mouth, and inhale
Add to water in a spray bottle to spritz in a room or on linens
Inhale scent directly from the bottle, or put a drop on a tissue and inhale

When I first read about this product it stated it could be used internally. I did some research and it is used for hormonal balance. This delicious licorice smelling oil, I do not believe, should be consumed based upon my experience. A drop gave me minor heart palpitations and tingling finger tips. Therefore I diffuse it. It smells wonderful. Like all essential oils it can be used to disinfect, it’s antiviral and antibacterial. I will be focusing on using it for those purposes. But, if I choose to smell like delicious black licorice then I can apply it, diluted, and use it for hormone balance.

If you like the smell of black licorice, Star Anise is for you. It makes my home smell wonderful via the diffuser. I purchased it because I read that Star Anise assists with hormonal health. And according to Davina Wellness it aids with Cramps, Digestion, UTI’s, PMS, and Menopause. However, it cannot be taken internally. Therefore, I suppose that it must be topically applied. I am curious how it can help with a UTI topically. Regardless, I used it when I had menstrual cramps, and yes, it eased them nicely. I will have to compare it to the essential oil Monthly Mend, which also eases menstrual cramps. Again, it smells delicious.
